Changing dimensions and importing images in Americommerce or Sparkpay

changing image dimensions in americommerce-designdecoding There are various ways to import images and change the dimensions to images in Americommerce or Spark Pay.

When importing pictures in Americommerce or Spark Pay you have to make sure images are always the same dimension if you set up a image in the control page to show up on the frontend 250px by 250px you have to make sure the image you are placing in the backend is proportionally a little larger then the then the thumbnail of the image you are importing.
For example if the thumbnail setting is 250px by 250px always import the image 1000px by 1000px this allows the image to be full quality when it is zoom in on the product details page.

There is two ways to import images in Americommerce or Spark Pay

1) First Way

The first way is to login once on the dashboard click edit theme then on the left side panel click theme files > shared directory > images folder then click on the gear box on the right side and select upload files here

2) Second Way

The next way is to directly import the images in the product you are editing on the left side panel click catalog> choose your product you are editing once inside on the left side panel click photos tab

Changing thumbnail dimensions

To change the thumbnail dimensions click edit theme > pages on the left side panel > then click category> then click basic settings > once inside scroll to the bottom of the page and choose picture settings and edit the dimensions there.
